Wise Owl Theatre celebrates the experiences of older people,

their stories, their lives.

Based on the mythology of the Owl of Athena and through the precepts of wisdom, keen vision, education and learnedness, our mandate is to produce both new and published works that are an existential enquiry into the facets and frailties of the human experience; encourage inter-generational relationships by providing opportunities for young artists to work and collaborate with experienced older theatre professionals; and contribute to an older perspective emerging in Australian theatre.
